Many
associations and PACs have gotten the message:
they say they’re committed to providing
outstanding value to their members and
on-going participation to their donors. But
here’s the thing: as an association, you don’t
get to define what constitutes service and
value — only your members can do that. So
you have to ask them. And as a PAC, you have
to have a mechanism to efficiently solicit and
tabulate feedback from your donors.
One
of the most effective — yet inexpensive —
vehicles for member involvement is now
available to you via the Internet. This is QEV’s
most important contribution to the realization
of the political potential of the Internet to
date: the ability to systematically solicit
the views of your constituents by email. And
it doesn’t matter whether
"constituents" in this sense are
voters, members of your association, or donors
to your PAC.
What
your members receive from us is an email
message containing an attractively formatted
questionnaire, which they fill out by using
their mouse to point-and-click. Then with a
final click of the mouse, the results are
automatically returned to us electronically
for compilation, analysis, and presentation to
you.
All
you need to provide are the email addresses of
your members. And if you haven’t been
systematically collecting their email
addresses, you need to start right now — or
your competition will. When the Internet
matures, it will be a major vehicle for
two-way, multi-media communications, which
your members will be expecting you to fully
exploit.
Email
surveys build member & donor satisfaction
in three ways:
 |
recipients
get the concrete message that you
care about their opinions;
|
|
|
 |
they
appreciate and enjoy the involvement
process;
|
|
|
 |
you
learn valuable marketing
information.

We’re
available to you to help construct a
comprehensive strategy for using the Internet
to conduct your constituent relations. Let us
